The Skills Generator (TSG) is our not-for-profit enterprise that develops collaborative partnerships to inspire and equip jobseekers for employment.

TSG provides partnered training, skill development, and work experience opportunities that replicate industry standards, so that jobseekers are genuinely prepared for the demands of work. We have managed over 50+ high interest employment preparation activities funded under Work For the Dole, Green Army, and State-Funded training.

TSG also incubates social enterprises that provide supported work experience and employment for jobseekers AND provide alternative revenue streams to sustain YC Group programs. We connect jobseekers with organisations who can benefit from their contribution to real world, hands-on projects. That means that every activity we manage is based on mutual benefit, community impact and social and economic inclusion for all.

“On behalf of the local Scout groups I would like to thank The Skills Generator for all the amazing work that has been done on our local Scout Halls. The improvements in safety and appearance have been a huge boost, not only for the local 400+ Scouts and their families, but also the broader community who utilise the facilities. The work carried out has been of a professional quality and the project management and communication has been excellent. A great team to work with!”
